James Guida has contributed essays and reviews on cultural topics to The New Yorker online, The NYRB Daily, Meanjin, Orion, n+1, Tin House, Yale Review, and various other publications. A book of aphorisms, ‘Marbles’, came out in 2009 and was listed by John Freeman as one of the 10 best books of that year. He is the recipient of a Fellowship in Nonfiction Literature from the New York Foundation for the Arts.
While for a time based in New York, he now lives in Australia.
